Belonging-
Finding Unity in Community

November 2nd-4th, 2018
$275

This Healing Retreat weekend is for anyone who feels the desire to fuel up thier hunger for belonging. On the journey around the seasonal wheel, this is a time for us to bring our attention and energy inward and focus on self care and knowledge. When we nurture ourselves we are more available for being present with others in community. You will have the opportunity to engage in our conscious dance community as we offer our passions for dance and movement, art, drumming, and sound healing. There will be plenty of time for soaking in the hot springs, eating good food and relaxing together.

Open Floor with Polly Triplat: Polly brings over 20 years of experience in Somatic Healing work and Earth Based spirituality into her dance and movement facilitation. With a background as a Feldenkrais movement practitioner and NIA whitebelt instructor, Polly developed her style of Soulwise Movement Meditation from her love of exploring Human Nature and her passion for movement and dance. She is inspired by the movement ministry of SoulMotion and the wisdom of 5Rhythms.  She is currently in the  Open Floor  teacher training and continues to deepen her movement practice with every class she teaches. Her mix of music and guided inspiration will help connect you with the wisdom of your soul. Polly has a private practice Bodywise Massage where she offers Healing Therapeutic Massage and Visionary Craniosacral work in Truckee. For more information visit www.earthspiritbodywise.com
Bowls and Beats with Breeze Cross(aka Breezla): Since retiring as a businessman and community/industry leader, Breeze Cross (aka) Breeze-la has been able to devote himself fully to his passion and commitment to raise consciousness in the world.  He has been developing & offering a unique practice which combines the healing tones of alchemy crystal singing bowls with movement medicine(dance) inspired by an eclectic mix of world beat music. These offerings invite awareness deeply into all aspects of the body, promote the healing of old wounds & karmas, the movement of stuck energetic patterns, and take one into the deep presence and peacefulness of pure consciousness. A typical offering may include breath work, mantra, toning, meditation, stretching and dancing.  You can learn more about Breeze-la and his practice by visiting his website at www.breeze-la.com.
Dancing Freedom with Laurie Martin(aka AhMuse): Laurie Nahser Martin, aka AhMuse, is a trained Dancing Freedom teacher and HealthRHYTHMS drum circle facilitator.  She chooses to experience life in community through music, rhythm, movement and color. Her business, RhythmU incorporates many of the arts - drumming, dance, voice, theater and “coloring”, offering sessions to diverse groups, ages 2 to 102, in many settings - schools, mental health, cancer recovery, senior living and memory care. In her Conscious Practice she offers an intention and guides a drumming meditation followed by the dance - an elemental journey with the invitation to dive in, express yourself from the heart with awareness of the rhythms of nature, moving from the inside out.  No experience necessary, “you can’t do it wrong!”  Laurie has worked in public health, education and community building over the past 25 years in the Reno Tahoe region. Her passion is to bring people together in music and motion for health and well-being. "Moving together in rhythm we strive to create a welcoming, conscious community for all!"
